Kubal Family

My parents were here this weekend and we had a really nice visit.  We love when they come and it always goes too quickly.  We are looking forward to seeing them for Thanksgiving weekend.

They couldn't believe how much she had changed in a month and we all can't believe how well she is doing sitting up by herself.  It makes me do a double take every time I see her sitting like this.  It's just so hard to believe that she is this big already!

Big Kubes kind of looks high and Evie looks a bit possessed but I still wanted to post Evie with her Grandpa and Grandma.

Reading with Daddy

I just love this post because I have a feeling that I'll be seeing this scene a lot.  Ed has been reading to Evie and it quite possibly could be the best father/daughter picture I will ever see.  It's so sweet and it makes me heart happy!

Not only do they look a whole lot a like but the like to lay the same way:)

It cracks me up that Evie will lay on her tummy and pick her head up so high.  She was horrible at tummy time and would never pick her head up.  Goes to show you that kids do things at their own speed!

Holdaway Family

Last Sunday we had a fun visit with Wanda, Deni, Grace and Gabe.  They came in town for a show in Downtown Indy and came to our house for breakfast.  We had so much fun and really wished they could have stayed longer.  We are really looking forward to seeing them for Thanksgiving.

Grandma Wanda didn't turn down a chance to feed Evie.  Evie is hot stuff and holds her bottle now.

Grandma and her grandkids.  I like how it looks like Grace is petting Evie.

I love this one!

Evie with her Aunt Deni and cousin Grace.  Or should I say devilish cousin Grace by her face in this pic:)

I just LOVE her:)

I know she is my daughter so I'm biased.  But Evie is just so fun and cute and Ed and I couldn't love her any more.  Here are some fun shots of her over the last week.

Evie and her baby UGGS from Auntie Monica in Australia.

So, on Friday Ed and I thought it would be funny to put her in as many patterns as possible.  It made us laugh pretty hard while we were getting her ready.  She is the cutest fashion train wreck I've ever seen:)

I got my camera fixed on my phone so I had to test it out.  I love our little girl!!

Go JAGS!

A couple Saturday's ago was Evie's first basketball game.  Ed started basketball season and their first home game was at 2pm so it was a perfect time for Evie and I to go to her first IUPUI Jags event!!  She had a great time and was so good throughout the game.  The buzzer and the pep band kept making her jump which was pretty funny!  Then this past Friday we went to her first Volleyball game to support the Jags volleyball game.  We kept her out way to late but we all had a really good time!

Halloween!

We went all out for Halloween!  I put out the two decorations we own, Evie slept through the little Halloween fun we had at daycare/work and we had two trick or treaters (no joke - Elmo and Tigger).  Most importantly though is that Evie looked as cute as can be in the little outfit that Wanda, Deni and Grace got for her!

 Mommy and Evie

Look how cute Evie is in her outfit and hat (from the Ellnors)!

She's already taking after the Holdaways and Grandpa Kubes with their love of sweets:)  Let's be honest, since being pregnant I can't stop eating sweets either!! Oh, and from the pic it appears that we just let our child sit on the counter by herself.  It's hard to tell from the pic because I have a black sweater on but my arm IS behind her!

Evie's shirts speaks the truth, "Daddy is under my spell":)

Squashies

Evie has been dabbling in the food eating realm and has been eating acorn squash (Or as we like to call in at the Holdaway house, Squashies)!  Shes been a good little eater and I think we might try something new this weekend.  My mom and I have been making the food for her.  It's been something fun to do together and we've both really enjoyed doing this for Evie.

This pic is from this past Sunday when it was a pajama kind of day!  Of course Evie made a mess of these so she got a bath and some new jammies:)
