Lots of Visitors

We've been blessed with many visitors over the last weeks.  Evie already has lots of people that LOVE her and we couldn't be happier for our little girl.  I'll try to get in as many pics as I can for this post but I apologize if I've missed anyone:)

Gabe was super cute with her and I thought his face captured this moment perfectly!

Grace and Deni LOVED spending time with Evie.  Dan on the other hand was too busy:)

The Holdaway Family had a wedding in Indy last weekend so Evie got to meet some great ladies that were in town!

I thought this was an outstanding picture of Ed, Evie and The Holdaway Grandparents!

UG and Aunt Sue were passing through town as they moved Jon from Kansas to Indy.  I'm so glad they got to meet Evie so soon!

Aspen and the Martin/Berry Family were also passing through town on their way back from NC to Buchanan.  Aspen was super excited to hold her and I LOVE that we got a picture of her in this chair b/c I took pics of Aspen in this chair when she was a baby!  Can't believe that almost 4 years later she is holding my baby:)

KT is Aspen's mama and one of my best friends.  I'm glad you guys could stop by and I can't wait for another visit when we can spend more time together!

Jody Pope (JP) came to keep my company one night when Ed worked the Indians.  I love spending time with JP b/c she cracks me up.  Can't wait to get back into our run/walk routine!

Taylor came to visit Evie but Griffey really ate up all the attention that she was giving him:)

The Vick Family came to visit and brought us dinner.  It was so nice to catch up with them.  Right after this picture Kelsea made Kerry move over so she could be in the middle.  Then she said okay give me the baby.  She so outsmarted all of us:)

We've been blessed my many visitors but this one came the farthest.  Moncia visited us for a couple days all the way from Australia.  It was so nice to spend time with her and it was really hard to say goodbye knowing that it will be at least a year till we see her again.  THANK YOU for coming to meet Evie.  It was a wonderful couple of days having you as our nanny:)

The Armstrong Family stopped by to meet Evie. This was just a girls pic but Hudson and Marc were there too!

Jill and Hattie came to visit us and I can't get over how little Evie looks next to Hattie.  Hattie was born in December and I know that time is going to fly.  Before I know it Evie will be just as grown up as Hattie.

Kasey came to visit and take Evie's pictures.  Evie was a little HOT after we took pics outside for a couple hours.  I guess she shouldn't have to work in those conditions:)

Cousin Jon just moved to Indy and will be getting married next weekend.  Emily and Jon made us dinner and we are so grateful!

Kimber came down from SB for a quick visit and I'm so glad that she did.  I love this lady so much and can't wait for Evie to get to know such a wonderful person!

Tori and Emma were down here for one of Tim's softball Tournaments and I'm so glad they stopped over.  It's so nice to spend time with old friends and Griffey LOVED spending time with Emma.

This is what Emma did with Griffey.  She put him in his crate with most of his toys.  Don't feel too bad for him b/c by the 2nd or 3rd time she did it he went to sleep:)

So proud of Kacy for holding Evie and doing it standing up.  So glad you guys were able to come meet her before you left for Mexico!

Do you think Grandpa Kubes is in LOVE???

Grandma Nan's official job is filing/cutting Evie's nails.  They are long again and I'm afraid that I'm going to have to do it which scares me to death.  Yes, Evie is in a blue camouflage outfit and yes we do realize she is a girl.  It's fine:)

Tons of neighbors have visited too but I'll add their pics under a different post!

  1. Glad that you guys are having so many meals brought to you. I wish we lived close enough to do that too. If you ever need another pair of hands to hold Evie, we're just a phone call away . . . and two hours . . . no big deal.
